The Scared Bugs Museum project was born from a very personal and unexpected source of inspiration.

During a difficult period in my life, I found myself watching many videos by Scared Bugs, a YouTube channel focused primarily on urbex, exploring abandoned and unusual locations while combining these subjects with paranormal, occult and mysterious themes.

As I became increasingly familiar with their videos, I started noticing the recurring objects, locations and visual elements that had become characteristic of their content. I began collecting these elements mentally, selecting one distinctive object or detail from each video that could somehow represent its story.

This eventually gave me the idea of creating a fan art piece: a fictional museum dedicated entirely to these element from the Scared Bugs's videos, where every room, display and object would represent a different video from their channel. The concept was to transform their extensive video history into a single visual environment — essentially creating a museum where the exhibits themselves tell the story of the channel.

While developing the museum, another idea naturally emerged: if this was a museum dedicated to Scared Bugs, why not create an opening sequence for it as well? This led to the creation of an animated intro based on the same visual concept and the elements developed for the museum.

What initially started as a personal fan art project unexpectedly evolved into an official creative collaboration. Lorenz and Jack, the Scared Bugs team, was so impressed by the museum concept and the animated intro that they decided to adopt the work for their own channel.

The museum artwork and the animated intro are therefore becoming official visual elements of the ScareBugs brand. The intro is planned to become part of their future YouTube content, while the museum concept will also form part of their new website. What began as a personal project created during a difficult moment in my life has consequently evolved into an ongoing professional collaboration with the Scared Bugs team, with further creative and professional projects planned for the future.
